Can’t believe how friendly you and your staff were towards our kids and our in laws. The kids have been wearing your hats all day today and they loved the raspberry cordials on the house. Can’t wait to visit again in the near future. Love the pub. We’re Woodend locals so we will be make the short drive very often. Thankyou again.N ESFebruary 23, 2024Great outdoor dining. As usual the food and hospitality was great (beer was nice and cold) and thanks guys for setting up the dining room for our monthly conference, I only received excellent comments from our members. We will see you in the very near future.Nigel OfficerFebruary 15, 2024Great well run county pub. Perfect for locals as well as people from Melbourne looking for an easy country drive & a great day out. Excellent menu & wine list. At a family gathering before Christmas everyone (10 people including 3 kids) commented on how much they enjoyed their meal. A small thing perhaps but on our most recent visit (a week day) we were very impressed to receive a text message from Eammon the GM in advance of our arrival to see if we would like to have a table outside given the warm sunny day. We had earlier booked for the bistro. Very attentive & friendly staff competently lead by Eammon. We are planning another get-together with friends there soon.Load more
